Lee M. Brentnall, ("Coach") a lifetime resident of Sloatsburg, N.Y. died June 17, 2017 at the age of 81 after a 30 year battle with Parkinson's disease. Born on July 15, 1935 in Tuxedo, N.Y. to the late Melvin and Gladys Brentnall. Lee retired from the Ramapo Central School District as District Director of Physical Education and Athletic Director in 1990. His life time passion was sports. A graduate of Suffern High School, where he became the Rockland County Champion in the Mile Run, and graduated from SUNY Cortland. He then served in the U.S....

Lee M. Brentnall, ("Coach") a lifetime resident of Sloatsburg, N.Y. died June 17, 2017 at the age of 81 after a 30 year battle with Parkinson's disease. Born on July 15, 1935 in Tuxedo, N.Y. to the late Melvin and Gladys Brentnall. Lee retired from the Ramapo Central School District as District Director of Physical Education and Athletic Director in 1990. His life time passion was sports. A graduate of Suffern High School, where he became the Rockland County Champion in the Mile Run, and graduated from SUNY Cortland. He then served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany where he received a Letter of Commendation from his commanding officer. He received his Masters from NYU. Lee also sold Real Estate for 52 years and owned his own Real Estate business with offices in Tuxedo Park, N.Y. and Suffern, N.Y. He then sold his business to Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty and became an associate broker. He was a past president and member of the Suffern Rotary Club.

Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years Kathryn Elaine (Roman) of Sloatsburg, his daughter, Cheryl Lynn (Brentnall) Salemo and Christopher Keller of Suffern, N.Y., son and daughter in law, Kevin Lee and Shannon (Smith) Brentnall of Mahwah, N.J., 3 grandchildren, Jake, Charlotte and Kate Brentnall, sister in law and brother in law Linda (Roman) Brown and Lennox Brown.

Visitation at Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, N.Y. from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Funeral service will be held at Wanamaker and Carlough on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Brick Church Cemetery, New Hempstead, N.Y.
